The Swarovski Company was founded in 1895, since it produces glass-crystals which are very popular in interior design also. They are used for decorating lamps, handles, faucets, even household aplliances. The glass is produced by melting a mixture of quartz sand, potash, soda and other ingredients – since 2012 has been lead-free. The Swarovski crystal is equal to luxury and glitter.
