Instead of coffee table
If occasionally more seating is needed in the living room, but don’t want to make the space cluttered, place an upholstered pouf or ottoman instead of a coffee table is the solution. It will be a comfortable seat that also functions as a table using a tray.

Furniture restoration
It’s a good thing to givean old piece of furniture a new life for by remodeling and/or repainting it. However, do not ruin valuable antique furniture with such a thing! These should be restored by an expert, or sold to someone who appreciates their present beauty.
Iron garden furniture
Wrought iron and cast iron garden furniture are very showy and durable. But they soon become hot in the sun, so always check this before taking a sit on them comfortably.
Leather types
Quality leather types which are also used as upholstery:
Nubuck: cattle leather that has been sanded or buffed outside, to give a slight nap of short protein fibers, producing a velvet-like surface. It is resistant to wear but hard to clean.
Morocco: high-quality goat skin that is tanned with sumac and than dyed
Patent leather: after preparation, the leather is coated with a lacquer which gives it its high-gloss, rather hard and waterproof surface

Guest room with twin beds is more practical in many cases than a double bedded version
