There are a lot of things that should be decided during the building of a family home, already when the style of the home is discussed with the architect. One of them is the structure of the roof, which has to fit to the style of the future building. We can choose among several types, so it\u2019s worth to know the certain names and features of them.
\nGable: two similar sloped and joint rooftops plus two gables (firewalls) giving a right-angle rectangular based roof
\nHip: it has four similar sloped and joint rooftops plus a ridge
\nMansard (French roof): a gable or hip roof with the pitch divided into a shallow slope above a steeper slope. The steep slope may be curved.
\nTented: a type of rectangular hipped roof with steeply pitched slopes rising to a peak
\nConical: polygon or circle based, sloped or split tented-like roof
\nThere are several other types of roof beside these, but the mentioned above are surely fit for classic style buildings.
\nIt\u2019s worth to involve an interior designer already at the beginning for cooperating with the architect to create the best home for the customer.<\/p>\n
